Introduction:

This blog is going to talk about the fourth Tajweed rule concerning al-noon al-sakinah. This blog is going to talk about Ikhfaa. Ikhfa is an Arabic word which means hiding or concealing. We are going to study THE RULES OF AL_NOON AL_SAKINAH IKHFA HAQIQI {REAL HIDING}.In this rule the reader conceals the letter (sound) noon /  ن / . This means that it is right not to pronounce the noon letter (sound). The Tajweed term is Ikhfa Haqiqi. It means to hide. This is the pronunciation of noon sakinah in a way so that the sound is between Idgham and Izhaar.

Letters of ikhfaa:

Any letter other than the letters of Izhaar or Idgham letters.

The way of pronunciation:

If any letter other than the letters of Izhaar, Iqlaab or Idgham letters follows the noon sakinah or Tanween, the reader should hide the noon sakinah or Tanween. The reader is also should make Ghunnah for two beats. THE RULES OF AL_NOON AL_SAKINAH IKHFA HAQIQI {REAL HIDING} is really important.

The ghunnah for ikhfaa:

 (1)   Heavy Ghunnah     (2)     Light Ghunnah

First: the heavy Ghunnah:

If the noon sakinah or the Tanween one of the heavy letters (خ ص ض غ ط ق ق),  follow the noon sakinah  or tanween, the sound of Ghunnah should also be heavy: you can master tajweed when you study islamic studies, arabic, quran and tajweed, joun e-aalim and excel at tajweed. 

إذا كان النون الساكنة أو التنوين من الحروف الثقيلة (خ ص ض غ ط ق ق) أتبع النون الساكنة أو التنوين فيجب أن يكون صوت الغنة ثقيلا أيضا:
