“Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.”
(Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:28)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said in a Hadith:
“من قرأ حرفًا من كتاب الله فله به حسنة، والحسنة بعشر أمثالها، لا أقول ‘ألم’ حرف، ولكن ألف حرف، ولام حرف، وميم حرف”
“Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive a hasanah (good deed) for it, and the hasanah is multiplied by ten. I am not saying that ‘Alif, Lam, Meem’ is one letter, but ‘Alif’ is a letter, ‘Lam’ is a letter, and ‘Meem’ is a letter.”
