Abu Bakr’s Early Life

Abu Bakr al-Siddiq was the first adult to embrace Islam. The Quran and Islamic studies say that he was prophet Mohammad’s best friend before and after the first revelation. He was the second of the two migrants mentioned in the holy quran; the first of whom was prophet Mohammad himself of course. He was born in the year 573 AD. This is because Abu Bakr was two years younger than prophet Mohammad who was born in 571 AD. His original name was Abdullah ibn abi Quhafa. However, his birth name was Abdullah ibn abi Quhafa. However, he had the nickname of Ateeq. This was because he was handsome and graceful. Notable to say is that prophet Mohammad gave him the name of Abdullah instead

Abu Bakr’s contributions in Islam:

Abu Bakr had unshakeable belief in the prophet. Students of Quran and islamic studies learn that Al-Siddiq  was gentle, whose tears were near. Abu Bakr wept with joy, as Asmaa reported. Because he was good, spotless, just & righteous, He accepted Islam at once. He  promised to help and support Islam from day one. Many companions accepted Islam through him Therefore, his name became immortal in the Quran. When he migrated and settled in al-Madina, Abu Bakr lived in  the as-Sunh suburb. He was prophet Mohammad’s father in law because prophet Mohammad married Aisha bint Abu Bakr. Al-Siddiq  had a wonderful character. Ibn Abi Quhafa  was well versed in Islam ..

Abu Bakr’s strong faith in Islam:

Abu Bakr had a strong memory and knowledge. The best online Quran and islamic studies teachers and online tutors teach their students that because of his virtues and outstanding qualities, He  was chosen as the first Khalifa after the prophet’s death. The prophet’s death came as a shock to all Muslims. This was because the companions loved the prophet greatly. Shocked at the unexpected news, Omar threatened to punish those who said the prophet died”. Nevertheless, he  went straight to the prophet’s room. Al-Siddiq  addressed the dead prophet. He said: ”You have tasted death, which you won’t taste again. This meant that Ibn abi Quhafah was unlike Omar. He pacified the companions by saying: “Who worships Mohammad, he is dead now, who worships Allah, Allah never dies”.

Saving the muslim nation twice:

Abu Bakr saved the whole Muslim nation at that crucial moment. Quran and islamic studies assert that he was elected unanimously as a caliph. He  set the rules of his policy. He said: “If he did well, the Muslims would help him; if he did wrong, they would set him right”. Moreover, His greatest aim was to carry out the Prophet’s will. It was to send out the army to Syria. prophet mohammad had decided that Osama ibn Zayd led the army heading for Syria. However, there was a more serious threat facing Abu Bakr. Some Arab hypocrites claimed prophethood after the prophet’s death.

Abu Bakr, a firm leader facing dangers:

In addition, some Arabs refused to pay zakat after the prophet’s death too. Abu Bakr was so firm. Islamic studies and Quran scholars stress that he  got angry and insisted on fighting them. Yamama was the biggest battle Abu Bakr fought. Musaylimah the Liar was the enemy of Muslims. Finally, Khalid ibn al- Walid defeated Musailima. About 70 companions were killed in the battle. The Yamamah battle took place in the year 12 AH. The loss of the Quran memorizers alarmed Omar. Omar suggested compiling the Quran in a book. He  refused to do a thing the prophet didn’t do. Omar explained the advantages of the idea. Eventually, Abu Bakr agreed. At last, Zayd ibnThabit was in charge of the manuscript.
