Dua for good health

Introduction:
This blog is going to talk about a very important dua. In the first place, it is going to talk about the dua for good health. Basically, as prophet Mohammad said, dua is the weapon of a muslim. Moreover, Allah said in the Holy Quran: (“And your Lord said: Call Me so that I respond to you.”) (“ ْوَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي اسْتَجِبْ لَكُم”)
Also, Allah said in the Holy Quran:
(“Say my Lord doesn’t care for you but for your dua.”).( “قُلْ مَا يَعْبَأُ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلَا دُعَاؤُكُمْ”)
This means that dua makes Allah take more care of muslims when they make dua for him. Moreover, dua makes a muslim’s heart more vivacious. That muslim is always content, satisfied and relaxed. Muslim kids learn a lot of dua in their online Hifz ul Quran classes.
Lack of Dua and its effects:
On the other hand, a muslim who doesn’t often make dua has a dead heart. Therefore, a wise muslim should always make dua for good health. For this reason, such a muslim suffers from depression and feels that he or she is away and remote from his or her Lord.When a muslim forgets to make dua for their lord, that muslim feels lonely and miserable. This is because Allah is the best Companion and Friend. Initially, Allah is the most Merciful and Compassionate. The Lord is the Everlasting One. Basically, All lovers, beloved, friends, acquaintances, relatives, colleagues and mates come and go. Truly, they appear and disappear in our lives. However, He is the Only One who stays by our side along our life journey. Therefore, a prudent Muslim should always stick to the gate of their Generous Lord.
The importance of health:
Good health means the absence of sickness. It is not to suffer any kind of disease. The health of body and mind is a great blessing for which a muslim should always thank Allah. Good Health makes and helps us enjoy life. It is the key word for happiness. That’s why we should always make dua for good health.When you are healthy, life is colorful and joyous. You enjoy every moment you live. You can help others and be a source of happiness to them. When a person is rather ill – God forbid – life loses its joys. This person is helpless and causes the people around him or her much trouble.
The duty of the patient and their family:
When a Muslim falls ill, they should be grateful to their Lord. They should be optimistic that Allah will forgive and reward them for their well-thinking of their lord. The time of illness is a very sensitive one. It is the duty of the people around the patient to be keen on providing quiet and rest for the patient. The atmosphere should be positive. The visitors should encourage the patient. Islam has recommended Muslims to visit patients. The visit should be brief and short. Islam encourages healthy people to visit patients. The visit of patients has a great reward in Islam.
Islam and ill people:
Allah says in one of the hadith qudsi:
(“My servant, I got ill, however, you did not visit Me. The Muslim says How can I visit You and You are the Lord of the world? Allah says: “My servant got ill and you did not visit him or her. If you visited them, you would have found Me at his side”).
عَبْدِي مَرِضْتُ وَلَمْ تَعُدْنِي فَيَقُولُ الْعَبْدُ كَيْفَ أَعُودُكَ يَارَبُّ وَأَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَاَلِمِينْ فَيَقُولُ اللهُ مَرِضَ عَبْدِي فُلَانٌ فَلَمْ تَعُدْهُ أَمَا لَوْ عُدْتَهُ لَوَجَدْتَنِي عِنَدَهُ
One of the most beautiful names of all is al-Shafi (The All–Healer). We Muslims know very well that Allah is the Best Physician. Allah is the One Who can cure illnesses. Prophet Ibrahim said in the Holy Quran:
((“When I fall ill, He (Allah) cures me”)).
Muslim kids learn a lot of dua and the etiquette of visiting a patient in their online Hifz ul Quran classes.
The prophet’s Dua for health:
Prophet Mohammad, like all other humans, often fell ill. He used to treat himself with a lot of duas. First, he practiced al-ruqia. al-ruqia. It means to recite surah al-kafiroon, al-ikhlas and al-muawithatain with the intention to be cured. The E-aalim provides al-Ruqia al-Shariah for Muslims worldwide for free. Second, prophet Mohammad often said: ((Allahumma I ask You for health of the heart and the body.)) He also said: ((“Allahumma let me enjoy good hearing, good eyesight and good health as long as I live”)).
(اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرَي. اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدنِي أَبَدًا مَا أَحِيَيْتَنِي وَاجْعَلْهُ الْوَارِثَ مِنِّي)
Prophet Mohammad also visited patients a lot. He used to make dua for the ill person.
